My Clients

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling like something is missing from their life. For some, healthy relationships seem out of reach. Others describe unmanageable emotions or being detached from them altogether. They may be called to a specific goal, but not know how to get there. I often work with survivors of trauma who are trying to see the world and themselves from a new lens. Together, we can honor what past versions of you did to survive, while exploring if the same path still serves you today. Your strengths, values, and learning style guide each session as we build a secure future. In sessions with youth, we use play and imagination to access what words may not be able to.

My Approach

Healing doesn’t always happen sitting still. Sometimes it comes through creating art, connecting with nature, or punching our office pillows (if that’s more your style). Each emotion moves us toward specific actions, and my hands-on approach invites you to meet your needs in real time. There are times where life pushes us hard in one direction, causing neglect, harm, or instability. My role is to support you in creating the right counterforce. If you’ve had to carry things alone, we practice a trusting dynamic. If your experiences haven’t felt safe, we find what gives your nervous system a chance to soften. As a Certified Personal Trainer, I collaborate with clients to identify ways to stay in tune with their body throughout the process. I also draw from modalities as relevant, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This combination recognizes both daily stressors and the layers below the surface.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Insight is powerful, but very intertwined with your environment. The systems, policies, and intergenerational dynamics that surround you impact what growth looks like and how it unfolds. I advocate for your care outside of the therapy room, writing letters for gender-affirming care and emotional support animals when applicable. I don’t believe it’s possible to fully connect with clients if I’m not authentic and human in how I show up. Your progress deserves to be celebrated, and humor and moments of ease can coexist with heavy, challenging conversations. Outside of the office, I prioritize creating that same balance for myself. I’m new to San Francisco, so I’ve been getting to know the city through its food and parks. I also love a weekend trip off the grid and live music!

My Rates

I offer private-pay therapy at per 170 individual session. If you have any concerns about cost, we can absolutely speak about how sliding-scale can make services more accessible during our consultation. I am not in-network with insurance, but I recommend contacting your insurance company about your benefits. Some will reimburse you for seeing an out-of-network such as myself. If that’s the case, I will create a superbill after each session for you to submit as a receipt for the services you received.
